The book titled, CREATION: THE PROCESS, JOURNEY AND THE OUTCOME (TRADITIONAL PAINTINGS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO WARLI AND MADHUBANI) contains twenty-five paintings related to Warli Art and Madhubani Art. Warli Art is the oldest form of Indian folk art and has its origin in the Warli region of Maharashtra. This form of art mainly makes use of geometric shapes such as circles, triangles, and squares. The Madhubani painting was traditionally created by the women of various communities in the Mithila region of the country. It originated from Madhubani district of the Mithila region of Bihar. These artworks have been taken up by authors as these have been considered simple and colorful art forms representing the traditional cultural heritage of the country. The journey in spite of numerous challenges to the author has been very pleasant. The outcome of creation has provided the highest level of satisfaction to the authors and hopefully will be the same for the readers as well apart from being informative to the readers.
