Tryst with Suicide

400.00

Suicide happens not because of the failure of the will to live meaningfully but because of the failure of the desire to continue with life in dignity. Suicidal thought is like a common virus to those who are vulnerable to its exposure. Rajan Nigam is vulnerable to it as he is not a survivor. He nurtures self-pity and a lack of dignity to hold himself through family ill-behavior. He decides to kill himself under the delusion of leaving pain to parents. But he miscalculates. His suicide is sold out as a mere accident. Sweety Nazar, a survivor also nourishes suicidal tendencies as an alternative to success in love life but as she hates self-pity and has enormous resilience she can overcome the desperation to commit suicide. Suicide is likely to be bridled if the guy gives a timely pause to it and postpones it several times. Then suicide evaporates from the mind. The real villain of suicidal thoughts is the victim himself. The prose in poetry adds to the charm of the narrative style giving new taste and volume of thrills and sensation to the reader.
