Transition and School Readiness Manual

This manual is for teachers of early primary and pre-primary grades. Pre-primary teachers should know how to prepare children for primary school similarly, teachers of early primary grades should understand how to comfort children in a new setting and make the transition phase smooth and successful. The focus has been to provide some guidance for optimizing a child’s holistic development. This document would be a comprehensive guide to planning programs for the transition phase at early primary grades and preparing children for formal schooling with an activity-based and developmentally appropriate curriculum for children at the pre-primary level.
