This book “Sustainable Development and Livelihood Strategies” (Volume-I) is a collection of 25 research papers presented in Two-Day ICSSR sponsored National Seminar on “Sustainable Development and Livelihood Strate gies” organized by the Department of Economics and Department of Commerce in collaboration with Seminar Committee and IQAC, Chhaygaon College held on 25 and 26 April, 2023. The book also contains the written ver- sion of the keynote speech of the seminar delivered by Dr. Archana Sharma, Retd. Professor and former Head, De- partment of Economics, Gauhati University. So, this book is a collaborative effort of a number of researchers/au- thors and academicians.
